Whipped Body Butter

Ingredients
1 gram
RSO
1/2 cup
Cocoa butter
1/2 cup
Shea butter
1/2 cup
Coconut oil
1/4 cup
Sweet almond oil
10-40 drops
Essential oils of your choice (optional)
Process
- Warm the RSO in a bowl of hot water.
- In a double boiler, or bowl suspended over a pan of water, add your cocoa & shea butters, plus your almond and coconut oils. Bring the water to a simmering boil & stir oils until completely melted.
- Add the RSO and whisk vigorously until fully mixed in, then remove from heat.
- Add in essential oils (if using) until it smells exactly how you want, then chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
- Remove bowl from fridge and whip the solidified oil with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy (7-10 minutes).
- Transfer bowl back to fridge for 30 minutes to set, then transfer to containers of your choosing!
Note: For best results, store your body butter in a cool, dark place, or in the fridge as it can liquefy in warm enough temperatures.
